Christmas Magic
Outside, a blanket of fluffy snow covers the city, casting a spell of stillness, reconnecting us to ourselves and loved ones. Inside, I feel like a snow globe; a miniature, self-contained world where my story is captured in a scene of tiny figurines. I give the globe a gentle tilt, a whispered wish, then white glitter starts to swirl. The porcelain scene is transformed into a wonderland, and the dancing snow washes all the world’s pain away. I remember that I am the dancer inside the globe, the creator of my own inner bliss..
Infinity Inside
This year, I committed to give the same amount of love and energy that I give to the world, to myself. ‘Infinity Inside’ was born. The physical book will be out in the world in 2026! It’s my story, but it’s also yours. My hope is that it meets you where you are, reminds you of your infinite potential and inspires you to keep going.
The Painting
A few years ago, I began to search for answers to the question, “What do I want?". I practiced closing my eyes each morning to follow my intuition deep down inside of my body. It was here that I discovered six-year-old me. Wispy hair in pigtails and green eyes sparkling, each morning she would smile at my question, and, without looking up, continue painting on a canvas.
A Birthday to Remember
On the eve of my 40th Birthday, I came across an old brown leather journal from 2020. Tucked somewhere in the middle of the pages was a coffee-stained note titled, ‘Dreams for the future’. Hand-written in cursive, the black ink revealed:
Five years from now, we are living in a vibrant city, full of culture and opportunity.
By age 40, I am hosting a gathering to honor all of the incredible people in my life who elevate me.
Then it happened. I celebrated my Birthday and the launch of Infinity Inside at Darling in Edmonton, surrounded by the most incredible community of people; the sort of loving and supportive environment that causes plants to bloom and goosebumps to form on your skin. I wish I could have bottled up the magical, shimmering energy in the room that night.
